This Week in Fir Class...
It's our final full week in school this academic year and the end is in sight! We have had discussions about next year in our class assemblies and the class are very excited to be meeting their new teachers next week.
We have started to do some work on non-chronological reports in our Literacy lesson this week. The children have also been gathering research for a debate about the drainage of the fens. Some children were on the side of the 'Fen Tigers' who opposed the drainage of the fens and others were the 'Gentlemen Adventurers' who offered financial support to drain the fens in exchange for land.
We have had some lovely PE days this week and the class have also had lots of fun making their bird hides in DT.
