Literacy:
This week the Year one children have completed their Zog story. Zog ended up flying to many different places including Australia and South Africa, good job he had some new sunglasses!
The Year two children have learnt and performed a poem called Dragon in the Classroom. They used lots of lovely expression and actions to help them remember the lines.
Mathematics:
The Year one children have been practicing their number knowledge and place value this week and applying the technique of finding one more and one less. The Year two children have continued with their measurement topic and have been comparing and ordering different measurements.
Foundation:
This week the children made a slider with the help of the gingerbread man story. They were able to create a scene from the story and chose a character to chase the Gingerbread Man. They then applied this new technique to their final product.
