Maths
This week in our maths the year 2's have continued to use jottings to show there problem solving skills acorss a wide range of maths problems.
The year 1 children have been busy revisiting their place value knowledge and how numbers are made of tens and ones. They have represented numbers using tens and ones, work sentences, number sentences and using the part, part whole model.
Literacy:
This week in literacy we have continued to think about how Hamish can eat healthily. This has linked to our DT where we designed and made smoothies, we then got to taste them! They were delicious. We have also been applying our descriptive language skills to our writing and describing what Hamish sees and who he meets on his adventure.
