Hello everyone,

Well the weather has got a little cold and wet, but that hasn’t stopped many of you from completing lots of the challenges that we have set you.  It is great to see some wonderful examples of your home learning.  Have a look through the photo reel below…can you spot your work? Do you like something that your friend has done? Can you have a go too?

It has been lovely to see some examples of you having a go at our brand new ‘oracy’ challenge.  It would be great to see some more photos and videos of this challenge!

Remember, if we haven’t already, Mrs Johnson and I will be calling you all this week to say hello and to find out which challenges you have been enjoying.

There are lots links and YouTube clips for you to look at this week. There are also some new pages for you to look at.

Mrs Johnson would like you to have a little look at the Libraries' Service 'Summer Reading Challenge', found at the bottom of the class pages, or you can follow this link: https://www.manea.cambs.sch.uk/cambridgeshire-libraries-summer-reading-challenge/

Mrs Bridges has set up a brand new page, also at the bottom of class pages, as there are some egg-citing new visitors in school.  Here is the link to take you there: https://www.manea.cambs.sch.uk/special-delivery/

Finally the end of our leaning challenges each week we are also including a PSHE mindfulness activity.  These can be something for you to try just to help you feel calm and relaxed.

Keep up all the hard work and we look forward to seeing more amazing examples of all of your home learning via our class email year1@manea.cambs.sch.uk

Keep being our year 1 Superstars!!

Miss Denton and Mrs Johnson.
