Another week down! This week in English we wrote our Francis prequels and the children tried really hard with their vocabulary and building suspense. If we can get them doing the basics right as well, we will be on to a winner!.
Maths has seen us take on the dreaded time. Although not explicitly a year 6 objective, it's important to work on solving problems related to it. There were a few issues early doors, especially with converting between 12 and 24 hour clocks, but that was soon sorted.
We also finished our geography topic- we spent some time outside mapping the school grounds, and then compared old and new Manea... what we learnt is that there are lots of new houses being built in Manea at the moment!
