What a busy week we have had in Year 1 and 2!
We are really enjoying our new core text, Farmer Duck, and have been thinking of lots of creative ways to challenge ourselves during our Busy Learning time. Some of us having been writing cards and letters to Farmer Duck to cheer him up, others have been designing and building him new farm machinery, while others have been busy in the Mud Kitchen making up menus that he would enjoy.
In Literacy this week, we have been working hard on sequencing the story and using time connectives to order our talk and our writing. In Maths, we have been revisiting place value and number skills. In Foundation, we have had a lovely time foraging and creating pieces of artwork inspired by the master of 'land art', Andy Goldsworthy.
