New Parents Meeting – Information sharing

• bring in a change of clothes to stay on the peg
• don't forget the all about me box
• Water bottles will need to come in each day filled with water – we can refill as and when necessary
• Snacks are provided each day
• Lunch information from the office – menu on the website
• PE will be carried out within the continuous provision and in our own environment – this will involve gross motor control work and also fine motor control work.  To begin with we will not need PE kits
• Home link information will be posted on the reception class webpage https://www.manea.cambs.sch.uk/year-r-1/   This will be updated each week for your information in order for you to support learning at home.
• Our class email address is:  Pineclass@manea.cambs.sch.uk – please email any questions that you may have regarding school and also any comments that you have connected to the weekly home link information – for example if you notice your child discussing anything that we have been doing at school or if you continue any of the work at home.
• We intend to have a parent meeting after half term where we will share your child’s learning with you and also what we will be working on next.  This is in order for you to support your child at home.
• The first half term will involve learning about our reading scheme and meeting the characters – we will then be sending books home after half term – you will be informed of the day during our parents evening.
