Literacy:
In literacy this week we have been using lots of descriptive language to create delicious descriptions of Mr Grinlings lunch. We have also been using our inference skills to try to make a good guess about how characters are feeling and to then describe those feelings. We have used adjectives, noun phrases and similes to do this.
Maths
In our maths this week we have been continuing to look at how jottings can be used to support us in solving a range of mats problems.
Year 1 have been focusing their jottings to represent multiplication and division problems.
