Our fantastic PE session
This week we are helping Beegu write her Christmas lists. She had collected a bag of the things that she would like to take back to her planet and now needs to write a list to let Santa know what they are. We have to choose an object and say it carefully to identify the sounds that we can hear. Once we have identified the sounds we then write the letters that represent these sounds - did you know that you write each object underneath each other in a list?
We are also reading the Jolly Christmas Postman - I wonder how many new words we can find!
In our maths we are working on the number 8. We are counting to and back from 8, saying the number that comes before or after and how many ways we can make that number - ie 4 add 4, 5 add 3 etc.
We are also making our Christmas cards and calendars this week! A very busy exciting time!
