Happy New Year!
Well done to all reception children for returning to school so well. They continued with their learning from before Christmas and extended their own challenges related to Fairy Tale Pets!
The Fairy Tale Pets have set us a challenge. They had been playing in our outdoor area when we were not at school and noticed something different. They asked for our help. They wanted us to find out all about it and answer some questions - What is it? What could it be? Who made it?
In our groups we went outside to explore and investigate, discussing together our ideas.
After investigating the clues of treasure, burnt wood, eggs and a nest, we now think that it is a dragon! We then investigated around our outdoor area to see if we could see other clues that a dragon had been to school. At the end of the day we listened to the story ZOG, which made us sure that a dragon had been playing - another fairy tale pet has come to set us challenges!
