This week, as part of Black History month, we have been learning about Mary Seacole. We learnt about why she was a special person in history and about the work that she did. We talked about how she was treated because of the colour of her skin, and share lots of views about racial prejudice. I have included the PowerPoint that we used if you want to share it.
In our maths work we have been practising applying all of the different methods we can use to solve both addition and subtraction problems, and taking the time to read out number problem, and think about what the symbols mean.
In literacy we continued our work on adjectives by designing and describing our very own planet for Beegu.
