Our learning
This week in our literacy we have been learning about traditional tales. We have been looking at the key events and similarities that happen in all of the stories. WE know that they start with the phrase 'Once upon a time', in the middle of the story there is a problem and they end with the phrase 'they lived happily ever after.' We have also looked at the repetitive and repeated phrases that many of the stories have.
In particular we have been learning the story of Little Red Riding Hood, and have been producing a story map to show the key evens of the story.
In our maths we have been revisiting and apply many different skills that we have learnt throughout the year ad been applying them to a range of problem solving questions.
