Literacy:
This week we have started to look at non-chronological reports, or information reports. We have identified their key features and have come up with our titles, captions and have also written sentences using 'and', 'but' and 'so'.
Maths:
Year 1 have been thinking about number bonds within 10. We have been working systematically to ensure we have found all solutions to a given problem.
Year 2 have been adding 3 1-digit numbers and have been using pictorial representations to help them.
Topic:
We have started our Geography block unit, Where We Live. We have discussed places around Manea and drawn some of our favourite places. We have also explored maps of the village.
Busy Learning:
Our Busy Learning challenges have been based on woodland creatures. We have made bird boxes and dens for foxes.
