Forest Friday
Literacy:
This week in Literacy the children have been working really hard and have produced some wonderful writing. We are retelling the traditional story of the Gingerbread Man, with our own twist at the end! The children wrote their beginning this week and we are so proud of what they achieved.
Maths:
This week in maths the Year One children have been continuing with their recognition and ordering of coins. We have been really impressed with their perseverance when they were ordering the coins by value. The Year Two children have been applying their knowledge of addition and subtraction to understanding the meaning of commutative and solving word problems.
Foundation:
This week n foundation the children have been looking at human and physical geographical features. They then created their own maps of Manea by drawing human features of the village.
