Book Week
This Week we have celebrated our love of reading with our annual Book Week. We began the week by sharing a new story and decorating our classroom doors to reflect this story. Cherry Class read The Bear and the Piano, and Beech Class enjoyed Billy and the Beast. On Thursday, we all had fun dressing up as our favourite book characters and completing some book themed activities, like designing our own books marks, drawing our characters and sharing a book with a friend. We were also lucky enough to be visited by author and illustrator Steve Smallman who read us some of his books and created an illustration based on the children's ideas.
